About RoamDial
Every radio station is a small window into a place: its language, its news, its ads, the songs someone there picked this morning. RoamDial makes it easy to open one — press play and see where you land.
What we care about
- Sound first. Play, next station and save are always within reach. The sky behind them is there to explore, never in the way.
- Browse by sound. Stations are laid out by genre as a sky you can wander, not only pinned to a map.
- Honest. We only show what we can actually get: no fake waveforms when a station's audio can't be read, no city when we only know the country, bitrates exactly as each station reports them.
- Keeps playing. When one stream of a station fails, we try its next one.
What it isn't
It isn't a music service and doesn't promise every station on earth. What you hear is whatever each station is broadcasting right now. There are no accounts and no ads.
Where it comes from
The station directory comes from Radio Browser, a community-run database; places come from GeoNames. Audio streams directly from each station's own server. See Privacy for what data goes where.

关于 RoamDial
每个电台都是通往某个地方的一扇小窗：那里的语言、新闻、广告，还有当地人今早挑的歌。RoamDial 想让推开这扇窗变得很容易——按下播放，看看会落在哪里。
我们在意的事
- 声音优先。播放、下一站、收藏永远在手边。背后的星图用来逛，但不挡路。
- 按声音逛。电台按流派铺成一片星空，不只是钉在地图上。
- 真实。只展示拿得到的信息：读不到频谱就不画假波形，只知道国家就不标城市，码率照电台自报的写。
- 不轻易断。一个台的一条线路不通，会自动换下一条。
它不是什么
它不是音乐播放器，也不承诺收录世界上所有电台。你听到的，就是那个台此刻正在播的。没有账号，没有广告。
数据从哪来
电台目录来自社区维护的 Radio Browser，地理数据来自 GeoNames。声音直接来自各电台自己的服务器。数据会经过哪些地方，见隐私说明。
